A Message from the Chair:

Welcome to the Centennial Senior Center website!

We have had many inquiries as to the current status of The Centennial Senior Center. I am pleased to report that the new Board of Directors is “alive and well: and working diligently to define our goals and direction.

We are particularly looking forward to launching a comprehensive strategic planning process in May, which will include the collection of feedback and information from inside and outside the community about needs, wishes, trends, and best practices. The process is expected to be completed this Fall.

In addition, the Center has been collaborating with the Community Provider Network and other agencies and organizations in the community to identify and promote senior programs that are currently operating in the Concord area. This effort will not only benefit the Center’s planning process, but will also help seniors be aware of, and take advantage of, the many programs and activities for seniors that are currently offered in the community.

The board is also very active at the committee level, forming committees in Strategic Planning, Finance and Investment, Communications, and Board Governance.

In order to keep everyone posted and respond to questions, we have retained our old phone number (228-6630) and have hired a part-time Administrative Assistant who will be working out of our temporary office at 105 Loudon Road.
