David Gill, the Recreation Director for the City of Concord Recreation Department. I worked as the Recreation Supervisor for the Department for nine years prior to becoming the Director. You could say my life has always been connected in one way or another to the field of Recreation in that my mother too was a Recreation Director oversees. I was fortunate to be able to spend much of my youth in Scotland and Italy while my father was in the Navy and my mother worked at the MWR Recreation Department for a submarine base in Dunoon, Scotland. I have a BS in Recreation from the University of Maine and have resided in the area since 1998. Prior to moving to Concord I worked for the Vienna Parks and Recreation Department in northern Virginia. It was there that I focused on coordinating programs for a large senior population. As a board member for the Centennial Senior Center, I believe I can work to assist in coordinating programs and activities that are of interest to the diverse senior population in the City and surrounding communities. I presently reside in Chichester with my wife Gwen Whitney-Gill and my wonderful daughter Isobella who just started first grade this year.
