Main St. One Main Street Possibility

Thursday, February 25th at NOON
"Re-Thinking Main Street" presented at West Street Ward House by
Concord 2020's Jennifer Kretovic and
Main Street Concord's Jessica Eshleman

 From Concord 2020:

"Re-Thinking Main Street" is a partnership in which Concord 2020, Main Street Concord, and the City of Concord have begun to think big in order to drive more economic activity, expand the tax base and bring a better balance to the many ways we enjoy downtown Concord.

Our Main Street functions as Concord's civic and cultural heart. It is the place we gather to work, shop, eat and socialize. More, it is a street for all: stroll its sidewalks and you're likely to pass a friend or neighbor, a satisfied customer, even a future President. Main Street in Concord is a place for everyone and knowing that, it's easy to see that Concord's Main Street is really "New Hampshire's Main Street."

We need to stand proud on our Capital City status. We can accomplish this by building on Main Street's historic character, its cultural Renaissance and its geographic location. We need to be something more than New England's best kept secret.

Doubt it? Just look at the traffic on the highway and count the opportunities passing us by every weekend.

There is one thing we know for sure: we cannot do this without you!

Join us for a public information / input session this Thursday, February 25th, NOON at West Street Ward House.  Light refreshments will be served.
